Hi, just to let you know of a Porsche event and open day coming up in April that will appeal to all Porsche enthusiasts.
After 5 years of intense work by UK specialists we are unveiling my 1972 911S/RSR rebuilt to Martini Prototype RSR spec.

The date for your diary is Midday, Saturday 6th April all are welcome!

BS Motorsport
Westcott Venture Park
Westcott
Buckinghamshire
HP18 0XB

This is the very special car that has been built to recreate the missing prototype Porsche RSR that raced in the 1973 Targa
Florio and then disappeared. Here for some background and to give you an idea of what we've done, is a still to be finished
flipbook of the project up to a short while ago. Ignore the deliberate mistake, Porsche finished 1st, 3rd and 6th! Oh and we
are up to 330hp now..

Neil Bainbridge of BS Motorsport has been responsible for the engineering, Bruce Cooper at Sportwagen and his metalwork
team have created the unique body shape that the Prototype had, and the final racing livery, incredibly all done in paint has
been achieved by Jason and Lee at Unit 24.

Everyone is welcome to join us on the day for the unveiling of the car, expect strobe lights loud music and dry ice and then
we'll be starting it up and doing a demonstration run. There'll be lots else to see with an engine running in the dyno testing
cell, rare Porsche's on the lifts to examine, and Neil will be in his engine room to chat about his work and your cars.

The whole story has been documented on this much watched DDK forum thread, but be warned it's very long, so perhaps
from pages 62 on will give you an idea of the work and detail that's gone into the project.

I've been on and off a long time member of the PCGB but as an Early car enthusiast only ever a bit of a lurker here as it's
pretty quiet in this section, hopefully this might just stir a little more interest in the older cars.

Thank you to all who came out yesterday for what turned out to be a wonderful occasion, to catch up on all the pictures and video's check them out here:

Hi Robin.

I waved at you as you were leaving and Jo waved back although I was standing behind someone so she may have just seen a hand waving at her :- )

It was so busy that was the first time I spotted you!
