Methinks the best bet would be to get the grey on the door cards and seats recoloured in Linen and stick those 968 skirts on Ebay where they belong, they look wrong on a 944 IMO.

Thoroughly agree. Doubt the interior is original, but does looked a bit miss matched. The seats in my old 2.7 had the centres and back panels changed to black leather, which I quite liked. Not particularly well done but -

I doubt v much those skirts come off in one piece tbh.

As previously said great advice and guides gents. I think I'll get my form off so I can see what interior the car originally came with. I do wonder if the centre console is painted or replaced as I've not seen (so far) the cream carpet, lower dash but black console.
