924 - The 30th Anniversary Event

Hi Paul,
When will any instructions be posted, I.E. Will there be any regional meeting points, are we all supposed to arrive all together, or is there a time to arrive at the OPC in Reading?
Regards
Paul.

Thanks for the offer, the train from Southampton gets into Reading at 9.45am (ish) if that's ok??

9.45 is cuting it fine for 10 am start but we should make it, just. There are two exits from Reading station and its best if I park in the multi and wait by the barrier, so when you disembark follow the signs to the multi-storey car park. How will I recognise you?

In a private email from Ceri she has informed me that she will get a cab. There is a station closer to OPC, Reading West but I don't know if he Southampton train stops there.

10am is the initial gathering time so you should be fine [:)]

What's the timetable Paul? I might not be there until about 10:45-ish (have to wait for my son to finish his paperound and it's about a 2 hour journey)

Phil

Don't worry about being a little late, you should be OK to join the car parking line up and catch up with everyone, it's more important you get there safely.
I'll make sure that someone is around to guide you to us.

I currently praying that I'll be able to get the 924 to start - it's been playing up lately. Popping home at lunchtime to have a tinker. []

Hey Paul,

Its going to take me about 3 hours to get down if the roads are clear so im going to have to leave my house at about 6 if i want to have a swift break. Hopefully will be able to get there for 10 but if there's a problem ill give you a ring.

Cant wait!

Andy

Count me in Paul; as usual I'll be attending alone [:(] [:D]

BTW, keeping this thread anchored to the top of the Forum makes it a bit tough to spot for those of us who tend to ignore threads with 'Top' tags (I can't be the only one!)

im not doing anything saturday if you want company/a passanger [8D]

Sorry Helen - it wasn't a 'no', more of a 'I haven't been on the forum for a few days'. Sadly I was unable to attend anyway, as the 924 refused to cooperate (i.e. start). The first time I can recall in 5 years' ownership that it's let me down! []

No Probs Dan, gave me a chance to get some things (that i've been avoiding for too long)done around the house.

sorry to hear the car let you down, hope its nothing serious
