I used to have a black one A699 TCR,(had it 5 years) but it threw a cambelt going down the M11 at Loughton, and it wanted a few bits doing and I had the chance to buy the new one, 77,000 miles last owner 16 years not used for last 5 years always garaged , really nice,.so I ripped my other one to bits and now I have a shed load of spares.

Thanks for the arieal bit guys but mine is classic electric joby. Oh and when he does dangle some annonymous person will take a pic no doubt because I wont be there of course I'll be at my mums having tea.. officer

For those interested in this saga a new development.... Rang autolass Sunday howz my car getting on? " ...We aint started mate, need to talk with your insurance company again as we can't source the tailgate and the only option is Porsche and they cost 3 grand" Apparantly they agreed a deal with the insurance to do the work on Thurs for x amount, they have now discovered they dont have a tailgate lying around and now want to re-negoiate. Spoke with insurance this morning they say if the tailgate is 3 grand then its a write off! So I'm off glass hunting again!!

Consolation for me is that I have an approved valuation of 2.5k less 350 excess less what they want me to pay for scrap rentention, so will end up with a few quid

Paul,
I know for a fact that Max at Fraserpart has some rear glazed hatches that should fit-he mentioned £30 to me & would come to a deal on carriage.

Contact details 0151 644 6433--07958 697333.

Cheers,

Colin.

Cheers Colin, Ant has one he wants rid of, so I'm gonna take that one. Actually got the car back this morning, arrived all wrapped up nicely on the back of a big truck! Is now Cat D write off, marked as vandalised. But 2.5k payout so well well pleased. Doesn't affect my no claims as classic car policy does not take into account no claims discount. Need fresh mot and engineers report to go back to fully comp insurance.

Just need to source remainder of glass now

Paul
