Saturday September 5th sees the main event for middle year cars at Kirtlington in Oxfordshire.

The 944 is a featured model and we need 4 cars for a central display. The cars should be in presentable, original condition to show off the features of the model.

If you think that your car is suitable and you would like to be involved please contact your Register Secretary, PaulMcNulty, at 944@porscheclubgb.com

I believe Rick may by Race Trailer Trash in Scotland that day so you may have to look for another unadulterated Turbo.

Good news though I'm going to see if Geoff will give us a space for 4 Rat Pack 944's - any takers?

hmmm.. well i would offer mine but since it says " original" I guess that means my 11 sec 0-100mph monster is unacceptable....lol

My S2 has the badge aligned incorrectly. I'm happy to be included in the "alternative" line up - it could be more fun. [8|]

sc0tty's big moment ? (would they permit clear front indicators ????)

If you want to be a real rebel you could turn the emblems round on your wheel centres

Tsk such blasphemy ! [:D]

Am hoping to be there . [:)]

Hi Peter,

I think we could grant you Rat Pack status. [;)]

For those that are interested there is a trophy for modified cars in the Concours.

We shall be there and have entered in the non original section of concours[:D] SWMBO likes the gee gee's so should be a good day all round, fingers crossed on the weather!

Depending on number of entries, please see extract below from the Rules and Regulations.

"Should there not be sufficient cars entered in either of the classes as above to run the particular class, then the entries will be amalgamated into one class and the bonus points for Originality and Custom/Modification Standard on the marking sheets will be ignored in order to bring parity to the competition. "

I am going to this and will also be entering my S2 in the modified section.[:)]

Anybody know where I can get a PCGB window sticker?

Edd

Mr Ives has given special permission to accommodate a Rat Pack display within the Register Stars. [:D] We need 4 modified cars to make up the cross. Please let Paul or myself know if you would like to take part. If we can't get four 944's we will through it open to other models but it would be a bit sad if we failed.

Have finally got my act together and ordered myself a ticket for the event. Is the Ratpack display now full ? (if so will make sure I bring the rat along which has been living in my car since Blenheim and pass him (?) on to those in need). IF not then please count me in. [:)]

Hi all,
I would like to try and get my (as yet) unfinished restoration project to the event, if possible and you think it would be suitable. I'm building the car out the back of work just a mile down the road from the grounds!
It may not have all its glazing by the 5th but I am hoping to have most of the major jobss finished by then. I have acumulated a lot of pictures over the last 3 years and hope to post a full write up soon. Enclosed are a few pics.
