That's is the sort of restoration story that should be in the porsche post. Much more interesting than test drives of the cayenne diesel and the butt ugly panamera.

Hear, hear, it's almost as if Porsche get a carte blanche with adverts for their current models [;)]

It would be excellent if you could trailer your project to the show, the pictures certainly look like a fantastic labour of love

I'd imagine that it would be printed very happily. All it takes is a half-decently written story (Stephen can tweak the text if necessary) and good quality pictures. Send it in! [:)]

All my spare time is filled with the task of getting the various bits finished right now. However, once she's on the road I'd love to try and pull something together.
I look forward to meeting some of you guys on the 5th if everything goes to plan.

If more people wrote articles on other things then there wouldn't be room for reviews on the new cars. Stop moaning and get writing. I seem to recall there might be a half interesting 3.2 944 kicking around somewhere that might make an interesting read.

Thanks John,
I'll be more than happy to push/pull/tow it up the hill to the polo ground.
What time are you planning to set-up?

I can't write for toffee (wish I could). It was the only reason I never put myself forward for RS when Martyn left, I simply don't know how Mcnulters manages to write something every month [&:]

I wish you'd learnt to write, then! Would have been better than letting me do the job. [&:]

To be honest it's a nightmare writing for the magazine. I try to keep it short, as we are limited for space, but I often feel I'm repeating myself. In fact, this is not a bad thing, as new members need the same columns repeated. Events are a nightmare as well, as the magazine has a lead time of up to 6 weeks.

That's why I promote the forum. We get what, a few thousand posts here every month? I can't distill that knowledge into 450 words, and so the way forward has to be online. In the meantime, please send in anything of interest. It can easily be re-written if necessary, and could fill a column or even stand on it's own as an article. It's easy to flesh-out an idea, my problem is that no-one suggests the ideas!

At least I've got the basis of this month's column sorted now. [;)]

Awww go on , go on , go on [:D]

As for writing stuff hopefully I will be able to chip in from time to time [:)]

It's the 'Light Class' [;)]and as some people refer to Boxsters as hairdressers cars the pony will be ridden by a young girl[8|] am I joking? Wait and see.

Back on the original thread - can I take it dogs are allowed at P & P?

Hi Mike,

I need to know this as well. If John or Geoff don't reply here I'll check during the week. As it's a long day I can't leave them at home. [&:]

Anybody going to this event who could let me borrow a Porsche air compressor for the duration of the day?

Its needed to complete my toolkit and space saving wheel for the pride of ownership comp. [:)]

I've got one I can flog you for a very few quid. It no longer fits Beaky with his Big Blacks.

With regard to dogs, we are having a visit by the local hunt and also a gun dog display so I can't see that it would be a problem provided they are kept under control - however the official word must come from Mr Ives as it is his gig.
