Personally I'd rather pay for the respray on the badge panel every few years. Good for the pedestrian impact legislation though. [8|]

I'd rather pay for a respray too. Those 'bras' look pretty awful imho.

Or you could touch in the stone chips yourself.

As an aside what sort of cost can be expected to get the badge panel resprayed ?
Well, I've just had the headlamp covers and badge panel stripped and resprayed and it cost me £160 - I removed the pieces myself and took them to bodyshop.
Those bras are blooming ugly things imho, but some of that 3M paint protection film might be an option?

I always thought that bras were popular in hot climates such as the US and Australia, primarily to stop the front of the car getting covered in dead flies, as opposed to stopping stone chipping.
What are the two ridge-like things sticking up for, widthwise on the car? I've seen a lot of car bras with them, and never known their purpose.ORIGINAL: J.C944TurboMan
Oli.
A friend had some on a 1960s Elan, it came with them, difference was minor and the looks runined!
