944 cabs on eBay

Hi Rory,
OK I may be able to meet you at Carl Reeves for around 2.00pm, if I can then I'll drive over in my Cab at least then you'll have seen 3 in a day, one rough looking and two good one's hopefully.

Indeed 944s were also fully galvanised - and 968s can be rusty behind the plastic, My 944 Tcab has got spotless sills, but then cabs tend to be kept inside or undercover 99% of the time,

So I'm the proud new owner of the cobalt blue 944,

checked the guards red one, tidy body and underside, checked the sills with my endocamera and it's was really clean. It jut had a timing belt and balance belt but one was far too tight. Sounded like a super charger, on the test drive it felt sluggish and sloppy. Stuttered when you put the foot down and when you took it off, oil pressure gauge was duff, stuck at 5 plus and didn't move.

i then tried the blue one. It was like a dream compared to the red cab and the red coupe I drove a few weeks back.

body is immaculate with some paint work but done to a very high standard. Full check with the endoscope and again spotless. HUGE history file. All mots etc

So I went with the blue one without hesitation,

shout out to Gary who was true to his word and met me to check it!

unfortunetly it needs mot'd and couple things before I pick it up.

ill get some pictures up once it's home!
