Right time I updated this again, (I did try the other day, spent an hours typing and adding images for the forum to tell me I wasnt logged in and bin the whole lot).

Its now the end of the season for me and the car, and winter is as always the time to rebuild and replace. In my case this means a turbo conversion and lots of other upgrades and improvements.

I did make some changes for the last round of the season, the biggest of which was to have and Augment Automotive ECU fitted to the lux. The aim of fitting the ECU was to try and get more torque from the engine by fitting the MAF delete kit and allowing the engine to breath easier.

As this was the first install not in one of Barks944 own cars he chose to come and install himself, however it is a very plug and play system, which would have taken me on my own around 45 mins to install. Luckily with Barks there, although there were a few minor issues with the initial running, he really went out of his way to make sure that it was all working exactly as it should, and even despite a tight time schedule between ordering and the last round he was able to get it in place.

My feeling is that it overall made the car more responsive and intuitive to drive on the limit, with an all round improvement in torque.

This coupled with more steering lock made the car great to drive and worked together to make it the best weekend I have had with this car this year.

Anyway heres some pics from the weekend

As part of drifting one of the aims is to get as close as possible to clipping points that are picked by the judges, at this event these were marked foam fingers, this picture shows me pulling this marker from the tire wall it was embedded in, without touching the tire wall.
