Lol, not quite. Mine's extremely large! (the lawnmower, of course).

A 944 that you can fit two decent-sized dogs in would be my ideal car. Like the Legacy, but a 944. Perfect. [:)]

If I won the lottery, unlikely as I've never bought a ticket, I'd rather buy/restore/build one of these than any other car, I think. The last kits were rumoured to be around £20K plus doner car to complete, so add in £10K for extras and I'd have a fully-restored, good-as-new 944 S2 estate for £30K. That's pretty much new price for a moderately-cooking Audi A4 or 3-series, but for something almost unique.

i like it too.
i also had a gte as well as my muched missed coupe uhx 96f now in germany rare and under-valued cars.

Far be it from me to insult your tastes but IMHO the only coupe that successfully translated to an estate was the Volvo P1800 ES circa 1972.

I agree the P1800ES is a looker, but would add another, a car I liked very much and had many happy miles in:

Also loved the Lancia HPE

and the Lynx Eventer.

I'd love a DP cargo. It uses a passat roof and tail gate apparently. So maybe Frenchy will donate his Passat and his Turbo to see if we can build a DP.

Had two HPE's in my time a rusty 2000ie and then an immaculate Volumex which I still can't believe I sold [&o]

My first car was an early series two 1.6l HPE (MAB 387T) and the second an HPE VX. They weren't actually a 'coupe-estate' though. The HPE was based on the floor of a Beta Berlina with the front panels of a Beta Coupe. It had a saloon floorpan though despite its pretty face and had little in common with the Coupe body beyond the wings bonnet and windscreen.
