944 estate?

I absolutely love it. To my eyes, it looks simply superb.
The snag is that the conversion is VERY expensive, and the car is almost worthless afterwards.
(I think that the red one above is actually a 924 rather than a 944, but I could be wrong.)

In a similar vein, I quite like the hatch replacement on this one:

Unfortunately the only information on that pic that I have is in Dutch:

or Spanish:

(About 3/5 of the way doen the page - it's a very long page.)
What was that cult film from the 70's I think.....'Harold and Maude'...he had a similar thing done to a Black E-type and made it into a hearse and I remember thinking it looked hot back then...er...I was VERY young of course. Cough Cough, must have been a re-run in the 90's come to think of it.[]

this dog refused to get in...
Apparently is a 944 Cargo!
I'd have that in a second. Not many used ones about unfortunately.
Same for a Ferrari 456 estate. I gather the Sultan of Brunei ordered about 4!

They'll still do the 944 Cargo conversion, but as others have alluded to it's very expensive.
I'm not sure of the conversion cost, but an already converted one is 18500 Euro.

Another "I like it" vote here. Very [8D]
Do have a look HERE however for some real crimes against taste. The 4-door tab reveals some real howlers (such as the AM Lagonda and Jag Xj6 [] )

That is possibly the worst thing I've ever seen - and I love the Lagonda and shooting brakes.....just don't combine them!
The Lynx XJS Eventer was great - looked good and had extra rear legroom to make a proper 4 seater. We dog owners need proper performance estates!
I would like without side windows as a service van[] In white, naturally.
