What a cracking piece of technology!

Fen,

You really live in the middle of no-where - at least you do from my point of view[:D] Nearest I've been to there, was a turbo (prop plane) to Bristol , and a hire car to Exeter (nice place!).

I like the "export to google earth" option, which works really well (Those that haven't tried google Earth should, it's a useful tool).

Peterlee's miles away - they have roads there that actually have two lanes (i know - incredible!!!) I also got 4 yokohama tyres there once - grim place (sorry if amyone lives there).

You've given tons of advice over the last year or so - circumstances have either got the better of me or you, hopefully the next rolling road day will see us eventually meet (and the other regulars too!) My expertism is BM's, so learning stuff about my first Porsche for free is , errr invaluable!

Only one disagreement though - I actually think the 968 is a nicer looking car <ducks>[;)]

Oh - and I especially like the maps' consistancy when zooming in - Newcastle doesn't appear, but Whitley Bay does (although to be fair they have a Spanish City!) Of course Whitley Bay is in Newcastle!

Nice idea, Google maps are fantastic.
I am slightly concerned about something, namely having to choose a little icon... I'm now a little green alien.

Great idea and great fun - and of course a great tool for car thieves! All they'll need is a map with Ferarris, Beamers, Rollers etc.!! Or am I just being synical?

That's why I said approximately (or actually approxiately which means a similar thing [:(]) to where you are. Not overly clever to drill down to your actual street to post the pin, and not entirely necessary for the purpose of the exercise either.

I seem to have indicated that I live off the coast of Norway when I actually live in Lancashire [:)]

[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]I figured out how to admin it now so I can delete that if you like? We already have one rotten red S2 on here so putting yours in the North Sea is a bad idea.[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]I also opened it up on Titanic, hence the names you may not recognise and I figured out how to zoom and centre it...[FONT=verdana,geneva"]

I did feel a bit of a fraud putting my rotten red one on the map - but it is still an S2 .... just! I've already scoped out another red S2 - it's in Surrey tho, so need to make a bit of an effort to go and see it.

Fen , if you could delete mine cheers . I hope your not suggesting my Guards Pink 944 is rotten and belongs in the North Sea [;)] I'm aware that Red is not your favourite colour in 944's but I woudnt swap the old girl for owt at present - well barring 928 GTS, 993 C2, 944 Turbot etc etc [:)]

It's ok I've put my pin at Helen Goffs, so the baddies can nick hers instead [:D]

Great idea Fen, this modernises the outdated list we used to keep on Titanic
