944 Made by Audi?

Its quite simple, if it carries the badge "Its a Porsche", and if anyone tells you diferrent they carnt afford one, so want to put you off.

This post is really frustrating th eheck out of me because I used to have a period photograph of the Neckarsulm plant but I'm blowed if I can find it on any of my 'puters scattered around the house [].

We drove past it during the 944 Register 20th Anniversary tour to the factory and the Nurburgring. It was nice to feel that the old girl had returned home (even though there was no outward sign it was anything other than an Audi factory).

Here's one of the production line

ORIGINAL: Copperman05

Doesn't really narrow it down though does it...! [;)]

That reminds me of the old Not the Nine O'Clock News send up of a contemporary Fiat ad: "hey, Bob, you got Bob's spanner", "no, I think Bob's got it", "oi Bob, here it is", "cheers Bob" then the tag-line "The xxxx: Hand built by Roberts".

As we re talking about Audis, I had a 1990 audi 80 sport about 14 years ago and compared to other similar cars, that were available at that time ,I felt it was way out in front. Also on the part sharin front noticed my 911 seatbelts bear the audi logo.

Sorry OT...................

Residuals. If you're buying new you buy a Cayenne, if you're buying used you buy a Touareg.

But the depreciation is horrendous.....................in the current climate probably now well over a £/mile??
