944 newbie

If you've really not fussed Turbo or S2 I would look at both and buy the best. If you haven't driven one, and you try a Turbo, I almost guarantee once you feel the boost, you'll want a Turbo. If you follow your head rather than your heart, then it depends if you like fiddling, or you want low maintenance easy driving. The S2 is a LOT easier to maintain as a daily driver... I have covered about 30k a year in both, and I would pick an S2 first... But if you want extra horsepower, and like fiddling, the S2 will bore you. Eitherway, if I were looking now, I would still buy the wrong car in the right condition rather than the other way round.
 
Haha youre probably Right. I do have a van I drive atm and will carry on so if I get the 944 I reckon maybe 5000 a year. So not that many. In a way I like fiddling but not too much, ive swapped an engine and wired in megasquirt so I can do things if needed. I think ill come to a meet and ask to take a ride in a turbo and an s2!
