Looking for the 10 speaker door photo I found lots of old 944 related stuff that might be of interest to some so have thrown a slide show together.

944 slideshow

There is more to come but I am currently in Italy so an hour ahead and its time I went to sleep,

hope you enjoy it,

Tony

Nice one Tony [:)]

However, you've made me about 10 minutes late leaving for work now [&o] I couldn't stop watching [:D]

That's funny, in the last days I had been looking for a picture on how to make the WG bracket work with a Tial and here is one

Thanks for sharing.

[FONT=arial"]Great pictures. Any chance of a high resolution one of the Turbo S sales brochure?[FONT=verdana, geneva"]

Tony,
Those brought back some memories ! Le Mans we were in car 69,the Lakes meet organised by Mark Roberts who now has a lovely silver 993,your red Lux and the hangover from hell at the PCGB show in Lancashire, the first time i have ever seen a green human being, i tried to revive you with tea..remember ?
I would love to get hold of one of the Silverose posters,Steve Cox still has his but it is laid up outside his house, he was making noises about selling it.
Hope you are well and hopefully we can meet up again sometime,i have been thinking about organising an unofficial meet, similar to the Lakes one.
Go well Jim.

Unfortunately its hard to forget being that green [:'(] remember it very well, and the top hospitality from the lakes contingent that lead to the Greeness [:D] Le mans was a top trip too as was the lakes weekend. Another lakes weekend would be brilliant, I'll be there! I would like to organise a weekend in mid/north wales, maybe next year when work has calmed down a bit and after I have spent some time on my car to bring it back up to scratch. Not heard from Mark for a long time, he had a 964 last time I saw him, What happened to Dave as well does he still have his turbo?

The original slideshow now has more pics added - I know I have/had some more somewhere, the 944 Turbo / 911 article with Derek Bell where he prefers the 944T, I have a pic somewhere of a broken rear suspension arm from rennlist - coil overs and no torsions. I even have some photos from the night discussed above but they are probably on film ;)

Must say some of the photos I have added show how good my current base spec Nikon D60 is - a 1m camera phone just isn't in the same class! :ROFLMAO:

No problem it took a bit of playing with and its not that pretty once on. No one can see it though and I have never seen any one else come up with an alternative solution. I did post it on Renlist a long time ago (UK952) but it might not be there anymore.

Thanks for the race car show Tony, it's nice to see the old girls in action. I logged on earlier today so won't be late again [:)]

[FONT=arial"]Brilliant ! These old adverts and articles bring out the real nostalgia.
It also proves that these cars caused quite a stir back in the day.

Tony you are so right - I have just upgraded from my Nikon D40 that I had for a couple of years and even as the 'baby' of the range, it produced some great pics, compared to any of my previous compact digital cameras.

This is one of the best threads we've had in a while, thanks again

Glad people are enjoying it [:)]

I think I have that book Thom (certainly one in the series) so that would probably be where I found it! thanks
