When I got it, the driver's side rear quarter definitely had a hint of pink about it, although thankfully the paint finish was good all round - just needed some elbow grease to bring it back to life.
The roof was by far the worst for oxidisation though and is still not quite there - might need to get that mopped at my local bodyshop to remove the last residues of pink..[]!!
I'm not a lover of the 'garage queen' approach, but i enjoy working on cars and gradually improving them so that they are the best they can be, without resorting to full resprays etc of course!
Still got a few jobs left on my list, with the steering column coupling being the main one.
Red ones are definitely faster though.....!

And finally...!!

That's a great picture []
What I really like about those wheels is the way they really fill out the arches.
It looks like a really nice one - Red is the next big colour as well []
Looks like you've had all the vac hoses done with the LR kit - what sort of boost control are you running? - hard to spot in the pics. It also looks like the FPR is standard? (3 bar ones I've seen need a different hose as they don't have threaded fittings)
Just dont go mad with autoglym polish as it can be a bit harsh. Just use lots of wax and if you want next door looking at you strangely rub it in with your hands.
This was taken a few weeks ago after a good waxing, it is the reflection in the font wing.

Well, it should be a 3 bar one as that is what came with the rest of the LR kit, including the manual boost controller and 3" downpipe etc - currently 16psi, I think.
Kit all fitted at RPM for PO, some 5 months ago so I will pull out invoice and check![]
It's a RPM tailpipe too as the LR one was a 4" system and considered too 'chavvy' by RPM, apparently!

No,,,,,,,,,,,,,, STOP............. DONT use any more of that horrible stuff..
Eventually itl ruin your beloved car.....
Get some proper clay bar/polish + CARNUBA wax on it....
If you cant afford the Zymol stuff then get some P21S wax.....[Fabulous kit]....
If you think its shiny now,, wait till youve got the GOOD wax on it....
All Autoglym is, is a polish. It doesnt seal the surface ....EVENTUALLY your car WILL turn PINK......[8|][8|][][][][][]

Big Dave, comments noted - I just wanted to clean up the paint a little and gets something on top, but I have been meaning to get some proper stuff; clay bar, paint cleanser and wax , but didn't want to have sell one of my kidneys to buy something made from tears of Indonesian virgins....[]
Any recommendations - HD cleanse etc?

I use the clay bar and the Auto Balm on my S2. They aren't the cheapest cleaning stuff out there, but they are far from being the most expensive, and do last a VERY long time. (I have had a clay bar and a pot of auto balm just over a year, and they look like they have hardly been used.)
Oli.
