Looks like you've had all the vac hoses done with the LR kit - what sort of boost control are you running? - hard to spot in the pics. It also looks like the FPR is standard? (3 bar ones I've seen need a different hose as they don't have threaded fittings)

Well, it should be a 3 bar one as that is what came with the rest of the LR kit, including the manual boost controller and 3" downpipe etc - currently 16psi, I think.

Kit all fitted at RPM for PO, some 5 months ago so I will pull out invoice and check![:D]

It's a RPM tailpipe too as the LR one was a 4" system and considered too 'chavvy' by RPM, apparently!

edh, you were absolutely correct - I have ordered a 3 bar one form Promax and it will be going on at the weekend. Apparently comes with an adaptor so that it can fit the original threaded connector.

btw - I reckon it's cheaper to buy most stuff from the states at the moment (and places like LR ship faster than most UK vendors [:D] )

I got Pirtek to make me a new hose - using the original screw fitting at one end & just a hose clamp at the other (I believe it's fairly low pressure so not a big worry).

Next question - do you have a boost gauge? - you'll never know what's really going on until you do. The factory gauge is a bit imprecise.
 
edh, I now have my 3 bar fuel regulator but Promax have simply advised that I cut the threaded connector off the end and attach the now bare hose to the new regulator with a cable clip.

What did you get from Pirteck - did you take in the old hose or just sketch it out for them.

Want to get this done this weekend if I can, then I can stop worrying about melted pistons etc...[8|]

I guess if it will reach OK....

The hose is inside a thick rubber sleeve - I don't know how tidy you'll be able to make it.
I think it's neater to get a new hose - take your old one in to Pirtek - get them to remove the fitting you need & crimp it into a new hose - it'll only be a few quid

There are various ways to de-pressurise the fuel system - I left the car running & pulled the fuel pump fuse which seemed to work OK. My FPR was a very tight fit - hard to remove & even harder to push fit back in.
