944 Silver Rose Alloy Wheels - HELP

Not sure about the exact type and the costs, will ask him.

Why don't you get it registered for marriages,Martin--all that room on the drive,tiled floor,legend on the toilet door,plenty of fluorescents,staircase upto the nuptial suite & the right address for runaway autophiles,never mind Porker lovers.

My garages takes 3 cars in line but is not clinically clean--incidentally how good are the tiles at taking jacking & axle stand loads?

A wedding venue for car lovers.... Now there's a business idea [;)]


The tiles are fine for axle stands and jacks. They are 5mm dura tiles and the only change I would make if I did it again would be to not get the ones with discs as they make moving things around a little bit harder due to the raised edges of the discs.

We discussed this last year but never got round to doing it. Will speak to Frenchy and see if we can sort a meet up at mine as there's enough room on the drive for about 15 cars if we park them carefully [:)]

If we can get a few from Scotland, North East, Cumbria and North West would make a good Sunday meet up and BBQ?

We use these type of heaters in the garage. they work really well.

I don't want electric or propane heaters they are too expensive to run. Hoping that with a wood burning stove I can keep it going with free logs or buy cheap logs from a local supplier when needed.
 
We've got a log burning stove in the big unit. But I'm in a little unit so it wouldn't be practical. However it is the way to go if you have the space for it. You can't park a car close to it as the paint bubbles. Don't ask me how I know that.[:D][:D][:D]
 
Simon P has an (old engine) oil burning stove in his unit, I think it was quite expensive to buy but garages will usally have to pay to dispose of it so he can usually pick it up free.

Just one point you may want to consider, a Stove or Oil / Gas heater has a naked flame and if petrol fumes are ever drawn into it, there will be one big ugly barbecue.

I would put a back boiler stove in a separate building and radiators in the Garage.

Failing that, Never Ever light the Stove / Heater when petrol is exposed, I enjoy all your company too much. [:)]
