944 Silver Rose Brochure

After scouring the internet and eBay for a long time I have finally managed to get hold of a mint copy of the 944 Silver Rose brochure.

As this brochure is very rare I am wondering if any of the Silver Rose owners or even Turbo S owners would be interested in a reproduction of this brochure?

I did this previously for a rare Ford RS2000 brochure and the printer I used made them to exactly the same specification as the originals with the same quality paper and if anything they were better than the original!!

I am not sure on pricing yet, but will find out what quantities are required to make it feasible and also make the brochures good value for you the buyers [:)]

If you would be interested just say so on this thread and I will gather the numbers interested.

I'd possibly participate in an interesting idea such as this...

Did not realise small print runs were viable

George, I did 75 for the early RS2000 which is probably a lot more than we would need for the Silver Rose and Turbo S but the difference in getting 25 made to getting 75 made was only about £60.

I will look at Rennlist also as there are plenty if Silver Rose owners in the States [;)]

Do you not run into copyright issues?

We've checked and the brochure isn't copyright protected. The printer won't do it if it was.

The Ford brochure was the same. [:)]

Martin, i am interested get a price, i was looking at a Turbo S brochure / supplement at Dinslaken it was of course in Deutsche but it was overpriced, get a few printed as they will always sell.

I have now got the pricing back from the printers and it is a bit more expensive due to the brochure being slightly wider than A4 and also the front and rear covers have silver ink built into the pictures which is more expensive to reproduce.

So here are the costs depending on the quantities ordered

20 brochures : £25.00 plus postage
30 brochures : £21.00 plus postage
50 brochures : £14.50 plus postage
70 brochures : £12.50 plus postage

I expect postage to be £2.00-£2.50 for recorded mail

I will put details on Rennlist and TIPEC to gauge how much interest there is. Can anyone who is still interested please add their name to the list and I will work on numbers

1. Eldavo
2. George Elliott
3. George Elliott
4. Frenchy
5. Tony Foote (944 Turbo)
6. DaveM (TIPEC)
