If it's wet (or snows) ...

John Sims - Land Rover Freeloader
Rick Cannell - Range Rover Autobiography

John Sims - Land Rover Freeloader

Belinda has taken the Freeloader around Brands Hatch. She said it was quite good. We also did an autotest on a wet playing field with the Westfield club once and her V8 Landy was quicker than the Westfields. [:D]

I will be going, but I can't book it yet (I have to be out of the country for a month around that time so not sure UNTIL MY BLUMMIN company make up their mind [8|]

Are you in tax exile, Paul ??

It's one of the recently announced Goldtrack evenings. 17:00 to 20:30 open pit lane for £135. Most of us have picked 18th July but they are doing quite a few more.

For those wishing to book (you know that you do) phone:-

Melindi Scott on 01327 361361 or email info@goldtrack.co.uk

Once booked please let me know so that we can modify the list at the top of this post.

It looks like we may well be having some members for R11 also joining us. This is great news as the more Porsches we can muster the less room there will be for Scoobies and Radicals. [;)]

Guys

The 'need 4 speed' bug has bitten again!! July seems so far off, so have just booked for this evening the 18th May on the GP circuit.

I can hear the shouts already 'he needs all the practice he can get to mix it with the 944 possee on the 18th July' !!!!

Anyone around want to play or a spectate? From say 5-ish to 8pm

all the best

Hi Paul,

Hope you have a good time this evening, can I put you down as booked for the 18th July yet? It's always good to have a 944 S3 along.

John --hi

944 S3 !!!!!

Not booked yet for the 18th July but on the strength of my showing tonight I will decide.

NB Just had a run out at Oulton Park on May 7th for the first time, what a circuit -- I expect that Silverstone will not be able to match it for thrills from our types of cars, but I will know more later!

nb deleted the bit that was here, as I decided I was talking rubbish!!

Rick

Good to see you again. "They seek him here, they seek him there, but Rick Cannell is actually everywhere!!"

Hope the thumb gets better soon -- you must be careful where you put it in future!!!

My quick report of 18th May evening Silverstone here: http://www.porsche968uk.co.uk/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=17400#17400

Rick -- might you add a few words here about the 944's that were present last night. Did you find out what happened to the 944 that expired at the bottom of the pit straight?

Am now keen to drive the GP circuit again -- so will book for the 18th July soon. The more who book early the better the evening will be for us-- as we will keep other cars out -- also I notice they have one on the 13th July so hopefully it will not be too busy anyway.
