944 T antilock brake warning light?

Thanks Terry (and don't mind Paul calling you Tim, I'm beginning to think he's genetically unable to get names right [:D]). Your son's car is an unusual colour, at least over here. You having 5 944's beats what I think was our previous record of myself having owned 5 944's (never more than 2 at the same time though) over the past 9 years.

Yes, that color is very rare, I know of one guy on Rennlist with a 993 for sure and have only *heard* of 2 968s in the US with this color.
Well, I guess it could work both ways because I have officially given my '87 S to my son but by law here, at least in my state, I cannot transfer the tiltle into his name until he is 18 which will be in 5 months....soooo, legally I guess it's still mine....[:)]

I'm just generally interested in your track car especialy if it's anywhere similar to mine because I still have a few options left on my car before all the harware is chosen. I suspect yours might me a non road legal car, possibly even used competitively on track in which case it's not like mine but if it's a trackday (driver's ed?) car then that's exactly what mine will be.

Here in my state the requirements for a "legal" road car for 1996 and older vehicles is pretty lax so it wouldn't be much of a problem to make it road legal however since I already have a pretty quick street car this one will be soley for track use.
I'm sort of at an indecisive stage. After removing every bracket, all insulation, glue, sound deadener, etc. from the interior and one coat of acid etch primer, I'm ready to srpay the Alpine White inside, then roll cage and seat/s, etc.
I'm going with fiberglass wings ([:)]), bonnet and front nose after scraping all sound deadener even from the metal inner fender wells.
I even cut out the shape of the interior door to remove the unnecessary inner metal panel where the actual trim door panel attaches. (Have plenty pics)

I got off this project temporarily- at the previous time I was working on it I had already assembled a complete mint 2.5L stock bottom end (new rings, bearings, etc.) then I ran across a complete 1992 968 engine that a local German auto center traded me in return for some ZF transmission work. (I do alot of trading :ROFLMAO: )
Now I'm undecided as to whether going with the 2.5 or springing for the piston kit that Lindsey has for $1200 USD and doing the 3.0, probably with the 8v head. mid 400's in HP and Trq. is pretty tempting and would make this (est.) 2400 lb. car really fly.
Either way, stripped out like it now sits puts me in the GT-3R/S class so I'd have to mix it up with some pretty fast GT3's and Vipers at my local track....

I did a bit more turbo research last night and I'm less decided than ever. My choices look like being a Vitesse stage III, Lindsey Super (75, 65?) and the GT30R looks like it would fill the gap under my inlet manifold pretty well too.

Any one of those choices will definitely require your attention to be focused forward....[:D]
I run 18-20 psi boost and light up 245/45 rear tires in second gear with the shift having already been completed and clutch released fully at 45-50 mph.... You can nail the throttle at nearly any speed above 2800 rpms in second and spin the rears so bad that you have to keep really focused on the steering corrections.
One thing you might keep in mind- the stock clutch for the simple reason of not being able to withstand much more than 325 RWHP may slip when you upgrade the power. I run a Spec Stage II as sold by Lindsey with lightweight option on the pressure plate and a 9lb. lightened stock flywheel....
