Cayman's are very slippery around the track from what I've witnessed.
My first trackday after the rebuild was at Bedford and was pretty damp and cold in the morning. A Cayman came out of the pit about 10 seconds in front of me and during his warmup lap I gradually closed to within a few seconds of his tail. On the second lap he just cleared orf and after a few more laps he was out of sight! [8D]
His grip and traction out of the corners was just phenomenal, whereas I was tip toeing around having to really experiment with traction. 18 years of suspension development and electronic trickery made my poor old turbo look decidedly tired coming out of the corners. Of course I was very rusty, blah, blah, blah, he could have been Mr Rohrl etc []
