964 RS Wanted

Hi , i have just purchased a 996 GT2 from www.gmundcars.com & saw a super low mileage 964RS RHD which they had just got into stock , im sure you would not be dissapointed with this little gem , well worth a look , im sure if you spoke with andrew he may be able to e-mail you some photos of the car so at least you could get a feel for it , best of luck, keith

Charles is right. Black RS is really (well!) tuned for track work It really is in excellent condition and I would buy it back if I did not have the RSR... Differences with a unmodified RS will mostly be a better power delivery (short 6-speed and RS tuning 3.8 326bhp engine), though at the cost of a more nervous chassis (tail-happy on original 17" rims in tighter curves). The engine is 3.8 but it has good torque, so not has peaky as other 3.8 conversions. It is well matched with gearbox. If anyone plans to buy this car, feel free to contact me.

White RS sold today, had it for 4 days ! First person to view it bought it, it was like new. We may have a similar car coming into stock with less miles and original condition. Andrew

I've got some recent pictures of PRS's black car if anyone's interested. I've also got a few of the Mint Green car at Malton.

Not that I have a habit of taking pictures - I just find them helpful when making back-to-back comparisons.

I can't help with your search but welcome to the forum Ollie. I'd tell you we're a good enough bunch but you've already met many of us so you know the truth. [&:]

I heard mention of a possible entry for Classic Le Mans next year "" how's that going? There'll be a group of 964RS and owners there again for 2014.

Rich

Thanks for the note Rich, I'll know at the start of next year if we get the entry to Lemans (fingers crossed!)

Cheers

Hi Ollie,
I was advised of a LHD, black lightweight for sale a few weeks back, he does post on here.
Can hook you up for chat if that's what you are looking for?
