964rs - someone buy it !!

Maybe they are all chasing the black 993RS on PH ? Sorry !

As an aside, theres's an interesting 993RS CS back at Gmund --- just check out the engine (may now be sorted) ?

Still, for those who prefer the traditional shape (and I do), this seems a good value car ?

Hmm, some cute RS's for sale in Switz at the moment.... 68000 km, £38k equiv... and I've never seen one this colour? Did they build many in Bordeaux?

Or in Silver, totally original, never tracked, 42000 km for a slightly optimistic, non negotiable £50k equiv.

4 different dealers.... found them on our equiv of autotrader... dealer claims the first one is Bordeaux... but not sure he'd know!

www.kueng-classics.ch is the boy with the bordeaux...

If these are Swiss Cars would they be a bit Neutered with Cats etc, I had a 89' Swiss 3.2 that was only 220 BHP as opposed to 231 BHP....they seem nice no doubt Tomas is on his way...why is the Silver £50K? are the others non-Virgins[;)]

Think Silver boy just being optimistic... others all look absolutely spotless to me... really nice condition esp. Burgundy and Pink ones. Don't think there is a difference in the Swiss spec on the RS... but interesting that there have been none for sale all year and now there are 6... (2 race prepared things that I didn't bother posting... look like dogs dinners)

As u say, Thomas would normally be down here hoovering them up, but he has a bit of stock at the moment... perhaps this is the start of a small slowdown?

Will concede... I do like the burgundy one (is it amethyst?)... very unusual.

Hmmmm, even seen one in real life? It is an "acquired taste" colour, at least for me ;)

Not seen in the flesh, no Phil... and we're talking hypothetically as I'm in love with the Black 993 RS on Pistonheads as well!
Now I can see the Rubystone being an acquired taste, but from the photos I thought the Burgundy one was nicely understated...

Nice rubystone in Italy 13,000km like new. Advertised in this months Octane. Low chassis number!

Registered within the EU is fine, but if you import a car from Switzerland I believe you will need to add 10% duty and then Vat, so just add almost 30% to the price ....

Does not surprise me Keith LHD Lightweights are totally out of sync with similar condition RHD cars now making £60K makes no sense having a 50% difference, either they are too dear which I feel they are not, thus the LHD will play catch up...you should keep it and ask nearer £50K in the summer.... and Monkey Bum Red just a great colour for RS....

Agreed Des. IMHO the RS's look their best in the greens, blues and reds. They are just perfect in solid colours rather than the metallics and the rarer the colour the better. Rubystone Red has to be seen in the flesh by people to get the full blown effect - the look on other driver's faces is priceless! Perhaps why the Porsche 964 RS press launch cars were in Rubystone Red! Everyone is polarised against what looks like a pink but it's one of those colours that sticks out on the track and the motorway. I've seen Sambaman's car on the motorway and the colour is striking.

its still whore lipstick pink whichever way you dress it up!!!

I for one like it though especially with the wheel centres painted the same colour....although I'm sure if it was on my drive all my mates would think there was a certain closet I'd be coming out of soon....
