964rs - someone buy it !!

A completely impartial view then? ;O)

Mint Green and Rubystone draw polar views.

They both have their admirers. Des and Keith obviously!

Paul Mc had a rubystone RS in when I went to try my silver RS. I like rubystone and thought it looked fab, but my 20 year old son thought it too gay for words!

its still whore lipstick pink whichever way you dress it up!!!

Jason don't be afraid to come out.........

I for one like it though especially with the wheel centres painted the same colour....although I'm sure if it was on my drive all my mates would think there was a certain closet I'd be coming out of soon....

Cheeky Des!

Certainly not in any closet - my girlfriend loves the colour but I am watching her carefully for signs of the matching lipstick, handbag and shoes!

The colour is more red than pink in the flesh. I was originally looking for a black RS and the more standard colours but the car was ideal (originality, low mileage, damage free etc). Now I'm smitten by the colour and I think the RS needs a loud colour. Certainly when I go through villages (I can see the cottage references coming next) people look around as they hear the car coming (de-cat, bypass) and then gawp at the colour!

I had a LHD Rubystone C2 NO SUNROOF wish I kept it......however everyone thought it a RS.....one of the best RS colours....it's just the homophobics who can't handle the colour!

Havn't seen any non-RS 964 coupes without a sunroof. I expect all C16 have a sunroof! Non-sunroof LHD ideal for conversion to RS look car. LHD a more believable base for a conversion anyhow.

A number of 964 RS lightweights in the market at the moment for top money not selling.

Someone at work today telling me Rubystone Red is pink and was quite animate about it!

My daughter recently would not allow me to buy some Vermillion wellies (--- so she could buy some herself where her size was back in stock)

'Had to buy the Lime Green ones instead.

If one is going to buy a car that sounds like the '64RS, one is going to get noticed --- which is a great reason for not choosing an invisible colour.

Did they make 'em in Grey ?

i didnt no..the man does not seem to like replying to e-mails ..not to worry ..

I did the same experience. I think the man don't want to sell the car...

I guess if one owns a car like that, with what could it be replaced ?

This does not seem to be an unusual occurrence ....
