Seems a good pre season purchase ...... does not say too much about the Donkey though, did it have Turbo's once?

Hummm, limited market, and not straightforward to put back to standard (and perhaps you wouldnt want to), I'm not sure where it will end up in history. It looks like a bit of a cosmetic job, more than anything - is that right?

Also, wasnt it on the market in Germany a year ago?

I dont know about the German market but if I'm not mistaken it was for sale on PH in the summer of '09 for around the same price[8|]

We also have a German market in Leeds - that's also full of sausage and chopped liver. [:-]

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder on this one [8D] Appear to have ticked the entire Techart catalogue options list. [:D]

When it was on PH it was midlands based, owner wasn't too fussed whether it sold or not - also has appeared in a few mags. If memory serves it was part of the RS display circle at the club 'do' in '07 (Alcester?) - nice condition but an aquired taste!

Tony you are right on both counts - the previous owner was from the Midlands, - the car was advertised last year by Hollingsworth who were an independent Ferrari dealership in Kidderminster (I believe they have now ceased trading). The car was part of the Ragley display and IIRC it won an award - something like 'best modified car in our display'. From memory it is very tidy, but as you as say, an acquired taste as it's VERY yellow!

It was the taste of those days.... As a witness of the times it´s great, I remember another car in mint green, and that one was also VERY mint green.[:D]

It was the taste of those days....

Absolutley!! [:D] Amazed Des hasn't snapped it up.....[;)]

My car came into this country with a Techart rear wing.....(It's now gracing a blue C2 based near Abingdon)...............often wonder what Schmitty nicked that off!![:)] It was running a rather tasty biplane 3.8 spoiler when he got his hands on it....[:(]

Possibily a guilty pleasure! But i rather like it(the interior that is). As to if i could live with it, not sure. I am not a fan of that wing on a 964, though it looked great on the 993 it's a techiquipment wing is'nt it ?

Replace the spoiler with a standard flat bootlid and I think it'll look pretty good, even if the interior is something of an acquired taste ..... The buckets look to be the originals, and could be recovered to something more "stock". Could be a good buy for someone at that mileage. The only expensive bit would be finding some Mags, otherwise could be put back to standard appearance for not much outlay.

Yes I agree, it is what it is.

It would not be worth trying to bastardise it back to standard ...

Probably a really nice car, but not for those who would not drive their pride and joy because it might affect the value [;)]

Was it optioned Techart from New? If so pretty original for the time ....

Also would like to know a bit about the engine... unlike them not soup it up with a supercharger or turbo, maybe these been removed or am I thinking of another .....

Here's Techart's list for the car. £30k! Inc 'Techart power kit' Not sure I should be sharing this. After all, knowledge is power! [;)]

Well I shall be sorry to see it go. It was driving it that started me on the slippery slope of Porsche ownership..........

So yours on SOR then ..... seems an original optioned Techart Car from new, being sold by a reputed dealer, if so sure it will not hang around.
