Haha, I forgot about that, shows you how long I've fancied the 964RS, I always expected them to go down! Anyway I purchased a silver 993 TT and so far so good. Its certainly does not have as mucch 'feel' as a light 911 (I compare to my old SC and a 2.4S I have driven quite a bit) but its still old school 911 and quite rare, and whoooosh fun.ORIGINAL: oldtimer Groundhog day ! On 27 February 2007 , JamesMcB wrote , in a thread titled "Caterham R400 & 993 Targa - What next? " "Can anyone advise me on values of RHD 964RS?" I guess the answer to the same question posed 23 February 2009 is " a bit more now than then " !!! Seriously James , if £ 40k is your budget then an RHD car is going to be a difficult target , and if you want the 964RS experience then settle for finding a LHD . If you are serious make the trip to Oulton this Friday with crash hat in hand and get some seat time in []

James, I am in that minority of part time RS daily Drivers. The car is softer than an Evo 10, but as Simon described, back in 1992, compared to a Sierra it was like a rock. I always considered a Sierra a bit.....floaty..... And as Winston may have put it, "Never in the field of motoring drivel, has so much been owed by so few to the many motoring hacks, who said the rs was too hard" The cars are Gems I wish you luck with finding one and am sure you will enjoy it when you do. It does show how they have carried on appreciating in the last couple of years. When I was looking for mine, there was a Monkey Bum Red Clubsport for sale in France with 12,000 miles on the clock. That was €75,000 from a dealer exactly 2 years ago which was £51,000 at the time. With the current exchange rate you could sell to Europe, buy the same car back in a couple of years time and still turn a profit - almost like renting it out for a while.
...although it never left the country. I did have to work hard to stop Thomas from taking the car to Europe. Certainly Thomas knows how / where to move the cars. When I was talking to him, many seemed never to make the website. He certainly talked to me about potential cars that never made the pages.ORIGINAL: 964RS You obviously want to sell so drive it to Spa, drive it all weekend, leave it with Olav or get it to Thomas and they will sell it for a crazy price in yoyos. [] Ask Des - he had his brokered through Thomas. []
