Hi Dave Can't remember but i guess its one or the other and which ever one it doesnt do the top adjuster would do it! I'm guessing its similar to this conversion but the struts are slightly different http://www.paragon-products.com/Koni_944_Double_Adjustable_Coil_Over_Strut_Kit_p/koni8742conv.htm Just had the thumbs up on the dampers from Ian Gardiner who Dyno'd them. I will ask Ian which one does what Cheers Jake

FWIW, the rebound is adjusted on the top, on my M030 Koni dampers. I imagine that the bottom adjusters on your Koni's are bump adjustment, but I could be wrong!

Cheers chaps. The reason i ask is , i have a set of these struts in my garage. One of the many projects that i am / was going to do...[][][][8|][8|] Jake. I hope your going to get the cam cover bolts plated, and a number of other bits and bobs done, like jubilee clips. It makers a huge difference to the look of the engine,...[8D][][]. Just take a look at JP,s engine pics...

Did you replace the bottom bolt on the spindle? With a Porsche bolt? Dave, leave him alone, he's go to drive it not polish it []

Looks like you need a longer bolt and cut it down. Wasn't sure if that was a set screw in your picture. Do you know what they tensile strength is on the Porsche bolt? Will look to see if i have anything, not likely, but i do have qquite a number of Porsche bolts, fixings etc. I was very surprised that Porsche dont stock them anymore? JP
Hi JP Its a 10.9 45mm M10 from memory - the factory one only has 50% thread. I bought a 50mm bolt which in theory should have the same thread length but it didn't........... Have put the original bolts back on for the moment - they are only torqued to 50NM as opposed to the strut ones which are 120ish! Picture below. I think it probably needs a 55mm cut down
Cheers Jake
Almost there (some photos from a few days ago)
Powder coated radiator bottom mount
Some bits still need cleaning i was rushing for the mot which shittylink made me miss!
The radiator duct needs replacing if anyone has one - emailed Porschapart twice now but they dont seem to respond!
Still some waxoil on the clutch housing that needs cleaning up but that will come "middle under body clean up"
bottom of the inlet manifold
I rebuilt both accessory belt tensioners - you can now tension the belts by hand
Airbox still needs a tart up
New top mounts look a bit disappointing to be honest. Its like someone has taken a good set off another car!
Stu got me the correct front brake lines - fitted lovely
Putting the old disks on which look a bit manky - might take her for a skim as there is plenty of wear on them left

Yes Jake, your thing which says 710 should say 7E0! Is the filler cap part number on your new one, the same as your old?

Wheel arch liners refitted
Oh and quite pleased with these clips for fuel/brake pipes - plastic now and replace the rusty metal ones

Some effort has gone into that.....although i think you have missed one or two bits where one of these would have come in handy...[]
Only joking, looks fabulous. Those plastic brake line clips are great aren't they. New clips on the lower front PU is a nice touch, Porsche ones? Better replacements since they're the correct size! Have you used stainless fixings on your undertrays? Dynatech strut brace also...they're rare now! I had a locally made lower one too, stiffens the front end up nicely - but perhaps not for the road.
