968 KW ?.

Back to the KWs there's a used kit on ebay now, bit expensive and I'm not sure the numbers are 968 related.
 
Pauly, give Stuart on the 968 forum a call (K300 username). He's got KW on his car and he also has an aftermarket car parts company that sells KW so he should know about any differences. In terms of standard struts and shockers they were carried over from the 944S2 so there can't be much difference.

Not any more. As far as im aware he removed them + returned the car back to standard suspension...He then sold the kit on....
Unless hes bought another set + refitted it...
Aparently he wanted a standard car....???????????????????
 
The guy selling the kit on ebay wants £1k for it, if I was seriously considering that outlay I'd probably stump up the extra for new, at the moment I'm leaning towards Koni inserts and the coilover conversion, I know it wouldn't be as good but it's much cheaper.
 
$1k? That sounds pretty cheap but I guess it depends on how long he's had it, what the car has been doing and why is he selling it?

[:D][:D], When I bought this car I thought I'll chuck a couple of grand at this and turn it into a real stormer, I may still do that but on reflection I may need to up the budget and I'm not 100% sure it's worth it.

Only if I could do it on the cheap and that seems unlikely, barring a disaster I'll stick with 2.5 litres for now.
 
They hold the position that was formerly occupied by Leda (Leda is a different company now, now based in Ashbourne). A number of their technical staff now work for GAZ and they will service/rebuild Leda kit, which is more than Leda will do!

Seems like these "words" are now coming to frue-ition...?????
As we have said before, there aint such a thing as a cheap Porsche.. Be it 944 or 968..
They ALL eventually cost ££££££££££££££ in the end....

Do yourself a BIG favour + buy yourself a E46 M3.....
Then again, youl probably want one of those for £7K.???? Yet again something that will cost ££££ to get right...[8|][8|][8|][8|][8|]..

PS. just looked at the KW,s on flea bay.
They dont look that dear, considdering they have the KW top mounts included...
But youl no dought want them for £500..[8|][;)][8|][;)][8|]

Your memory is a bit selective there Dave, I upped my budget and bought a nice late car and it certainly wasn't cheap, as far as I'm aware it doesn't NEED anything spending on it.
