How can you predict the head gasket will go in Dec? [;)]

Nice car. I am looking to upgrade my VR6 at some point but not yet unfortunately.

Good history and good price. Good luck with the sale

First john, now Andy, seems to be fate that if you become the 968 Mod you have to sell...better stay away for a while.

Bargain for someone thats for sure.

Good luck with the sale.

I have managed to sell the Recaro Seats from the car (thanks Henry) enabling me to hang onto the 968 for a little bit longer so it is now off the market

This is good news.

We've only had our CS a few weeks but i'd already hate to part with it. They're just completely special!

I hate to say it but i'm even having the rather lovely dilemma of what car to take to work with me. Have solved this dilemma for now by taking the boxster in when it's sunny and the 968 when it's overcast.

When it rains, i'm getting on my pushbike! [:D]

Here is a side on!

You dont say what sort of money you are looking for but the market for the CS is quite strong at the moment. Isnt it worth you getting it serviced and brought up to a decent spec? Im sure you would get a much better price for it.

What would you say was a decent spec, as a matter of interest? Just the ARBs or much more? I've always reckoned that the fact I could easily return mine to bog standard was an advantage, if someone wanted one as delivered, but perhaps not..........

Hi
Thanks for the interest, unfortunately I dont have any spare cash to spend on the car at the mo, I am starting up my own company and have 4 kids and a wife to look after so the 968 is bottom of a long list.
Good news is it has just passed its MOT, only had to realign headlamps! Has new battery, new discs and pads on back, new pads on front. Has had alternator referb, oil & filter change, New cams, New tensioner and New cam chain at PCT 4500 miles ago.
Good condition all round apart from a little corrosion on back wheel arch.
Was hoping to get £8K ovno.

Hi

Thanks to all of you who have requested more info, there sould be some on its way to your in-boxes now!

Cheers, Justin.
