981 Cayman Rear Window Delamination

Hi all,

I was wondering if there was anyone else who had 981 Cayman Rear Window Delamination? I have searched and can only find a post from a couple of years ago. The issuelooks identicle to mine, only around the botom edges like the post below.

2015 981S, always been garaged! Could this be a warranty issue?

Thanks for the response, I have taken some pics, looks like a carbon copy of the other post.

If you have an extended warranty on your car, I would certainly go and see your OPC. At least you would get an opinion on what is happening. It does look like the start of delamination, but I suspect it may be put down to something like cosmetic degradation.

It would be interesting to hear if any other members have experienced this. I suspect that it may easily go unnoticed unless doing a careful clean as you were..
