991.2 GTS arrived

I haven't found any difference yet, taking into account that a 4GTS the power is a lot of the time on the rear wheels.

Your new GTS looks fantastic! Long wait until July for mine.
Could I ask you a favour please - I would love to know the ground clearance under the front apron if you would be good enough to measure it. It will help reassure me (or not) that I don't need the front lift, I managed OK with my Boxster GTS and if it's no lower I know I will be OK. I think the front overhang is about the same as the Boxster so it will be a good comparison.
Thanks in advance.

cymro hasn't seen my request for measurement as in my post above, so if anyone with a new 991.2 GTS could help by providing the front ground clearance of their car (and which suspension they have) I would be grateful. I'm keen to finalise my specification as soon as I can.

Sorry I forgot

It is 15CM from the rubber of the lip to ground. Not much difference to the GTS 991.1

I am not finding the sports PASM -20mm too firm, just right. Although I have the PDCC.

I went for a mountain run yesterday, the car handled beautifully. Going around the bends with the RWS was awesome.
The only thing I missed from the 991.1 GTS was the loudness of the exhaust which I can live with. The car is far more responsive than the my previous 991.1 GTS

Thanks a lot - that's great. My BGTS was approx 15cm too so I should be OK without the lift.

Mine will be a C2 GTS like yours - I test drove a 991.2 C4S with sports PASM, PDCC and RWS, did a hundred miles or so on mixed roads, it had excellent handling and very flat cornering. It wasn't uncomfortable at all, but I felt it was just a little firmer than my BGTS (on PASM), I'm definitely getting RWS and I'm tempted to opt for the -10 PASM for a slightly more compliant ride (lots of roads here in IOM are a bit bumpy), but add the PDCC for good body control on corners. 10mm higher is visually hard to spot unless two cars are side by side and I think that for me it will be the best combination of handling and comfort.

Congratulations on the new car, and I think it's the only customer car on YouTube at the mo. Looks stunning in white with the black roof and details.

Mine to has now arrived at the dealer, but unfortunately due to some works cannot pick up the car yet.

To be fair, dealer was excellent and it's only taken about 3-4 weeks from finalisation of the order and should have been here in a few weeks yet. So whilst it's in the UK, will not be getting into it for a couple weeks yet. Those who wait and all that!

Has anyone noticed the cost of the cars has gone up since the end of the month, and annoyingly the crayon colour released on the gt3 is now available across the range. Definitely would have been a consideration.

You will avoid the price increase though hinds? My GTS is a July build so I will have to pay the increase. Look forward to photos of your car and what you think of it.

Have posted a quick youtibe vid in the 991.2 GTS thread, since this is Huw's thread.

Amazing car, and I haven't even driven it yet.

Thanks Huw. The car is GT silver, hence the disclaimer, no idea what I'm doing with a camera... will try and get some pics uploaded. Will post another update once I get the car home.
