991 Turbo S: Awful hot small & warning messages

ORIGINAL: Damo1 I take it the car wash people must have sprayed some sort of silicone or tyre shine on the tyre wall that went on to the disc.
I don't think tyre shine could do that

I have just had the same problem on my 991 Turbo S 2014 7000miles. Drove car about 100miles perfect - left it for about 3 hours. Got in and drove off - first error message 4 wheel drive system, then 10mins later auto stop start non functioning then PASM non functioning. Also noticed that cruise control wasn't functioning. Car actually drove perfectly No brake smell and the PDK coasting system was working - so the brakes weren't binding.

Next day Porsche advised recovery.

Brake pedal bushes had apparently stuck slightly - such that the car thought brakes were applied - the give away on this is the non functioning cruise control.

Repaired under warranty - but on talking to Technician this has been an issue on Boxsters, Caymans and 991's.

For the life of me can't understand why they don't just replace the parts routinely - mine had only been in for service a couple of months ago.
