991 Turbo S Recall

At last after several reminders I received yesterday an invoice detailing the work done on 1st February 2016 for the "recall" free of charge.
This was reluctantly provided as the dealer said that the would always have the details when I came to part x it but I insisted as it is part of the vehicle records and I might sell to someone else or buy something else!

(The invoice for the service was presented immediately for payment before I could collect the car!)

The invoice doesn't tell me much and although I saw a couple of sheets about the reasons for the recall at the dealership and I asked for copies they have not been provided, I am not sure that I can be bothered to take the matter further. Don't understand the labour charge as the current rate is in excess of £60.00 per hour so only about half an hour was booked out nothing like the time mentioned by one contributor above.

Invoice attached, if it means anything to anyone perhaps they could elucidate.

Cheers

As always thanks Alan.

Made interesting reading, makes it difficult to understand why getting info is like pulling my OPC's teeth.

Allegedly diagnostics show no problem with spoilers so no action taken. OPC doesn't believe that computers don't always report their own faults and sometimes report faults when there aren't any!!

On next track trip I will have a go pro equipped car in front and back to demonstrate that neither spoilers automatically extend.
Cheers

Michael
