992 C2S Cab order

Collected the new 992 Carrera S Cabrio last Wednesday, although it ended up being a very wet evening for a first drive home, I absolutely love the car, its feels perfect and I am delighted with the drive, handling and feel of it.

Many thanks to Rory and the team at Porsche Centre Tewkesbury for turning it around very quickly and giving us a wonderful buying experience. They can be highly recommended to any future Porsche prospects in the area.

On two occasions I have driven to North Wales and both times when going over the Snowdonia mountains the ‘SOS warning light inactive‘ message has come on. On the first occasion it was continually on for approx three days, then cleared when I was driving back into England. However, last week it came on, again in the Welsh mountains, but has not cleared, even after a weeks driving back at home. I assume its something to do with connectivity or a poor signal. I don’t know if there is any, ‘reboot’ or actions I can do to clear the fault. I have not yet tried to use the SOS button to check if it does connect to them.

Request now sent to OPC asking for a booking reservation to try and correct the fault.
