We collected our 992 on Friday and are delighted with it. We had a Sunday morning drive out over the Peak district with some of the members of Region 5, the car is absolutely amazing and was well worth the wait. Here is a photo of our car at Gawsworth in Cheshire where we attended their Bank Holiday car show with Region 5 on Monday.

I have no idea why my new avatar is upside down - any suggestions?
Clive, I had them on the GT3 but as with all the rest of the car, these seem quieter but no less powerful and that slightly gritty sensation at low speeds is not evident.
Main thing is that the Memsahib is comfortable in the 18 way seats unlike the buckets in the GT3.

Not a portent of things to come, I sincerely hope! [][]

Very nice I was looking at a 992 in Tewkesbury last week and really like the cabin it is now at least looking cutting edge and hopefully delivers on that front.pwebb said:or I mistakenly purchased a EHCS 116
The recent reports seem to feel the car has lost some of its character / soul and is now very accomplished but more of a GT car than a Sports car.
Guess its early to make any judgements but would like your thoughts when you have a few miles on the clock.

Very nice Peter. We are in the middle of the 6 day R14 Irish trip, and I must say the car has behaved beautifully and a pleasure to drive. The 4 way sports plus seats are very comfortable.
Good afternoon all. My 992 C4S Coupe arrived 3 days before lockdown. Not really driven it yet, but once the lockdown is lifted it should be fun.

hi guys , can you give me some advice , iv had my 992 for a few months now , but this is the first warm spell , is it normal for the climate control to stop cooling the cabin when the outside temp is warm and the engine is working , basically every now and then in warm weather my cabin will become like a sauna for a couple of minutes , it mentions in the manual that this can happen if the engine needs extra cooling , this seems crazy to me , thanks stuart
No, that has not been my experience here in the UK, maybe in the UAE (when the heat is insane), but not here. Have you emailed your OPC? I know Swindon is still answering emails during lockdown.
