993 RS 8/32 KING AND PINION

Paul try water cooling your intercooler, not much more room for a bigger intercooler, what about better airflow to the cooler.
The 500bhp was just a statement of numbers, just to say i dont think 400 would be enough against a slippery well driven class 2 996.,500 bhp normaly aspirated 993 would deff kick ass,may be we will have to see!
Dont forget a standard factory rsr is only 340/350bhp,but complying with the open regs of power vs weight, may be a rsr could loose some more weight to make it competative in class 2,any way the GT90 is the way to go if it takes off.
Also another interesting series is the Historic touring car series, looks like fun

It is true that as the induction tract heats up, it's capacity to cool the incoming air charge diminishes, and the ECU will therefore reduce the fuel charge to retain the optimum fuel/ air mixture.

This is why some cars use water cooling of intercoolers --- but there is an obvious weight penalty to the water which is sprayed over the intercoolers once they have become too warm.

Whoops --- just seen Paul Howells reply !
