Based on ownership location, would seem most are down south! Would is not suit most for a Silverstone, Goodwood or South meet for the 15 year celebration?

Personally I would organise the 993 rs anniversary celebration at the annual Silverstone classic at the end of July 2010,
it will take some planning but here is what I would conceive of as a possibility.
1/ Silverstone classic weekend ( Friday, Saturday, Sunday, ) last weekend in July,
2/ 993 RS infield parking display for what could be the biggest gathering of the rs ever !
3/ 993 RS 15th anniversary parade lap of the silverstone circuit.
4/ Block book a local hotel for the weekend & organise an evening meal,
5/ Media coverage, perhaps contact Phil Raby total 911 for a photo shoot of rs gathering,
6/ organise a track day on the Monday, this would be a good opportunity for a total 911 photoshoot & perhaps a video,

we have ten months to organise something special, Barry Smith ( PCGB ) may be the first call to organise infield parking,
maybe Paul Howells has contacts for a monday track day?
lets get this planned now, the longer we leave it, the less chance of anything positive happening,
I nominate Chris Whittle to do this !!! [:D]

If it cant be done that weekend then the Silverstone Porsche centre could possibly be used, morning on track (not the porsche experience circuit) then lunch at the Porsche centre? If the track cant be booked then tie in with say a goldtrack event there?

Will add my new car to the list. Bought the white small spoiler pack comfort car from SCOM. The car was dropped off as planned and having looked closley the underside of one of the rear wheel arches was not 100% perfect. One email / phonecall and John had booked it into local bodyshop to get corrected straight away. I have read it before that their cars are expesnive but so far the service has been top notch.

would be good to get the date in the diary before HID starts booking flights as its bang in the middle of school summer break.

I'll happily get involved where it makes sense, --- it would be very good to look at as many options as possible and then narrow them down.

Track day on the Monday would be fab if at Silverstone Classic --- and the celebration MUST include a trackday, even if some of the cars are observers [;)]

Passenger rides for those who would prefer not to drive their own cars, what justice [:D][:D][:D]
