993 RS Clubsport for sale

They look like similar propositions don't they,,,although I prefer it I don't really think Riviera is worth 25% extra pricewise.

Precisely my thoughts. The red one looks good value.

Its the old story Guys .............perception and what people will pay ............IMO its even sillier withe older 2.7 rs i ve seen a couple that have been bought in the last 3 months for around £200k and they re not perfect or even close ..................FWI, i reckon for that money there should nt be even the tiniest fault .........................then a well known dealer told me this week....... 'if people want perfect cars they shud go to the factory and order new ones !'........................u decide , i m skint , no new toys coming to me right now anyway!

Sorry Vic, hard to feel too sorry there will be no new toys on the horizon...you will have to enjoy the ones you have...should be a good year of events now they are both in such fine fettle [:)]

What happened to your golf?

Paul, the price gives me hope mine might be worth something more than I paid for it, or at least cover the cost of the engine rebuild!

Vic, what Golf have you got? Is it knackered?

I HAD avery nice 95000 mile petrol turbo ,in Audi rs blue [honest] used for salty road days ,tried aquaplaning on the M1 last Thursday , no one else invloved ,only managed 180 degrees, then backwards into the Armco ........................described by the engineers yesterday as not only uneconomical to repair but unsafe too!!! Its a short whell base Golf now ...........................at least it was nt an orange one!! Feel pretty stupid ...............reminded me of an off, in similar weather, at Doni in the yellow one , backwards of the Craner curves ..................except there was just grass then ......................

Vic, glad you are ok.....as you say could have been worse....just shows it pays to have a run around....I have an S4 with proper Quattro system for the wet, superb for piece of mind, they do a 4wd Golf too, maybe worth considering??...

I know the blue VW Jazz blue, a tad lighter than Audi's Nogaro blue,,,not that I am sad or anything [8|],

Blimey Vic, glad you are OK. I have only had one crash on the road.......a big tank slapper in an E30 M3 that finished in a big 180 and into the Armco, and it realy sh*t me up! Mind you, I also did a 360 in a Renault 5 Turbo when I was 18, but I didn't hit anything. Couldn't sleep that night for the adrenaline still cursing 'round me veins!
If you want a Golf, get one like mine. Plenty quick, brand new ones are cheap if imported (19K including a few extras for my 5 door).....and best of all, they have TC and full stability management!!!

One GT1, 5 door on order , but it ll be a couple of years old as not used much , given the guy a top price to pay or less! not for Armco demolition anymore !
