993 supercup

Phil i remember your car when it came to Uk for Paul H with red and blue flashes !

U worked hard to make it look as good as it is today........................i have a wagen pass thats almost full up......... from 1st race fully signed right up until 2007/8 when it was taken out for full bare metal, regalvanization and all the rest

Still none of them virgins !

Yes I have similar memories of the blue and red flames, way back when the Cup was on Tom's trailer in Telgte and when 964 RSs were very cheap. Yep, I have the Wagenpass too, a critical piece of info in my view and it definitely is also very full!

But the credit of restoring the original stickers (and rebuilding the engine) goes to one of the owners after Paul, not me.

I definitely prefer non-virgin race cars anyway. I like their battle scars. Race cars that have not raced are odd to me, but that's only my view.

i did nt really mean the Livery alone ..................it goes really well , last we were out together, PCF 2/3 years ago, i was actually running the wrong ecu , good old Ecke !, only meant abt 80 bhp down !
But i read ur experimenting with set up and so on FWIW i think we are now running very similar....................takes time to find a happy set up for each driver .

i hope to make Spa with Gold track 10/11 October ....................PCF was a little too much rough and tumble for an old boy!
i do admit i probably joined the wrong group .............the food was good!

I have no interest in this car personally and even less reason to get involved between U and Tom ; but i answered ur direct email with what i believe to be fair response ............i think without absolute proof ,what u ve stated is very harsh, i see no reason to change anything i said privately in answer to ur email or on this forum, but as u choose to bring it up again i repeat what i said in the direct email .......'better tell Tom 'than keep restating the same thing .............hes quite big enough and ugly enough to defend himself , perhaps he does nt think its appropriate .................................nothing to add.

Never got the email, probably in junk. Not interested either but didn't like your tone or Melvs. Over and out.

On a lighter note, yellow overalls are so last year, and Harald, what exactly are you doing with your hand inside your pocket, that large grin may be a clue [:D]

Harald Grohs is the man between the girls, in his earlier racing years he ran a place where some girls helped him to finance his racing. And, yes, great shot, Steve!

There must be an interesting story behind that nickname.[:D]

Thanks Hacki, guess the names under the photo are a clue !

The overalls also give the game away.

All cup cars have stories, they are race cars, they can be repaired.
Phil you have all the provenance, shame the other car has been done like yours.

Now thats a good idea vic,a egm for the rs registers, what about a great venue like the pub at next years oulton rs day[:D] Des could be the chairman when he has had a few ciders. That was a great night out.
