Just out of interest can anyone please tell me how much the 993RS auctioned at last weeks Porsche Club "bash" made?

Many Thanks

Their website appears to be an antique and totally useless for finding information.

£60k sounds reasonable on the face of it?

Any more details as to condition or provenance?

Cheers.

How about a pucker RS 964 (America) [8|]

Exactly,,,,,

The words Pucka - RS - and America, should NEVER be used in the same sentence...unless in jest! [:D]

Vic -FYI - I believe the DVB silver 993RS was sold by them to someone in Japan earlier this year. There was a big thread on PH about it!

Thks Chris .......can i say good riddance ........or might that leave a nip in the air?

Amazing where some cars end up ..................

Yes, I think 'good riddance' would be the appropriate comment.

BTW and again FYI, I ended up buying the other silver one you mentioned to me on this very forum last year!

If u mean the less than 25 000 miler RHD car well done, thats as good as it gets .............i believe someone bought it from my pal but only kept it about 3 months,i lost track had a feeling the guy put it through a trader .......nuts!

RS day at Snetterton 19th might we see its there ?

You can still find garage queen RSs - I know of a yellow non-CS version with CS spoilers with <10000KM. Not for sale though.

True - but like 2.7RS's there's not many - I've lost track of where my beautiful old RHD 993RS went - silver, N911 GWU - unusual in that the first owner (who I bought it from) specified a comfort seat (standard 993 road car 'sports' seat / hard back) and a bucket for the driver's side as his (then) wife wouldn't sit in the bucket!

Truly a perfect car with 20,000 ish when I sold it (from memory) - the first owner had been such a long standing customer of Porsche that when the Speedlines started to corrode around the bolt holes, they replaced them all FOC - in 2003 nearly eight years on!

I sold it to Philip Basil - I know he sold it last year - not sure where it went to.

Philip

Vic - It's this one ^ - which I presume is the same one you're on about?

Won't make Snet as a lot of commitments at present and on-going. I'm sure it will make an outing or two next year though.
Cheers - Chris

Sounds like the words of Mr Taysom who sold it to Philip , the original owner, i am almost certain was Martin Konig..................so there u have it full history and a lovely driveable car

Sounds like that is my old car Vic! Glad it seems to have found its way to a good home. I know I'm going to regret having sold it (much like Philip T before me).
