996 C4S or 997 C2

It's funny you should say that I've been on YouTube viewing the 996 C4S with sports exhaust and they do sound amazing , that was going to be something I'd try to look out for , was that an optional extra or something that an owner has retrofitted after purchase ?

I found the 996 C4S at an OPC in Solihull and agreed that they retro fitted the sports exhaust as part of the deal. Well worth looking out for one with it fitted, preferably the switchable one as can be a bit loud if you have close neighbours ??

mine was a manual which I preferred over the tiptronic of the time which seemed a bit slow, not like the pdk's now

anyway happy hunting Paul stephens, Paragon, JZM, PIE, 911 Virgin are always worth a look

I had a 996 C4 up until August which although not as nice looking as a 4S was a great car. I changed it for a 997 C2S and I just think its a significant improvement on the looks and internal quality and design,
