Spent part of yesterday fitting new wipers to my car in readiness for our trip round the North Coast 500 ( Northern Scotland) next week - it's a drive I have wanted to do since reading that edition of Evo last year when they did the ECOTY (Evo Car of the year) round the route. Scenery looks breathtaking - we are hoping for decent weather, but fitted the wipers just in case ! Has anyone first hand experience of the route ?

Sorry - I meant to put the above post in the 'what did you do with your 996 today' section - could an obliging 'Techie' possibly transfer it !

AS you can see from my picture Nothing like Scottish Highlands for a Porsche Holiday Is that the run up from Ballachulish to Fort William on the Great Glen?

The first picture is just before the bridge to Skye. The second is a place called Loch Morlich a few miles outside of Aviemore and at the foot of the Cairngorms.

Of course it is. Should have recognised it - been there so many times from Shropshire - Second home my picture is on the way back from the top of Skye on the right as you come down. back into Portree. The Scottish Mainland in the distance and the entrance to Loch Torridon

Have you tried the sea food bar at LOch Kishorne just before going over the amazing Road to Applecross

Fair comment about the hose! Trying to find a decent picture of my car when it's clean and without my grinning mug in it is difficult however!

350Z an excellent guess but wrong...
