996's look like the bargain of the century

Well ... that was my theory. Hopefully the depreciation on my 2000 year pre-face (bought for mid 20's) with lowish mileage will be much less than if I'd paid low to mid 30's for a 2002 face lift model.

Time will tell, but I'd be surprised if the 5K premium for facelift of same year (e.g late vs early 2001) will remain that great as prices drop.

On the other hand if you've got the money, then enjoy it while you can and what better way than to enjoy a Porsche of whatever age/model takes your fancy.

couldnt agree more-ive driven a few of all ages and they are all great fun in my view.forget depreciation and enjoy[:D]

I have to finally part with my 2002 model (2001 51 plate) Guards C2 Red Cab. With a host of extras and look stunning and miles in the late 60's what should I be able to get. Owned it now for over two years and never once has it given me any concern. Didn't bother continuing the opc warranty . Anyway whats it worth? Full leather, red belts, side skirts, Sat nav, etc.
Thanks

Grant

Hi Grant,

Doesn't sound too dissimilar to my car. IMO if you're selling privately, I'd ask between £32-34k depending on condition (ie has it recently been serviced/new tyres/disks-pads, paintwork etc) and full spec (hardtop?/wind deflector?/Litronics?/PSE? etc).
