Stefan, the X51 kit is the engine power upgrade pack you can now order from the factory, and is described thus on Porsche.com. Only slight fly in the ointment in the £8,250 price tag!! For that money I'd be looking at a very well looked after used 996TT.

Raises power output to 280 kW (381 bhp). Includes modified cylinder heads, exhaust manifolds, ECU, additional radiator (only for manual transmission), carbon fibre air-cleaner housing, aluminium-intake system and sports exhaust system with pair of dual-tube tailpipes in individual design in chrome-plated stainless steel. Note: also in conjunction with Tiptronic S. Available from approx. September 2005
