997 Gen 2 build quality/reliability?

Plenty here. I bought a Wolf a few years ago and it works fine, Noisy when filling the tank but otherwise just the job.
Never thought of cleaning the wheels with it though [;)]

Has anyone else had any problems on 997 Gen 2?
Altho mine is only 18 months old I have two problems to date.
A noise everytime I braked (the garage replaced the front pads under guarantee). And now, there is some corrosion around the brake area ( not the discs). The car is not used much on weekdays and garaged when not in use. I had thought these were pretty tough vehicles, and that the build quality would be good. I am hoping for no further problems, but, am now wondering how reliable other users are finding them. My earlier 996 C4 went well with no probs over nearly 4 years. Any comments appreciated.

My first 997 C2 (Gen 2) PDK was rejected under the Sale of Goods Act & my OPC refunded all my money. Despite extensive work (new pads, then new backing shims, then new special grease, then new discs & calipers) Porsche were unable to solve the problem of continuous & excessive brake squeal at low speed. As a replacement, & from the same OPC, I bought a C2S and had no problems with it. However, all my Porsches have suffered badly from disc corrosion.
