Luckily for me being a yorkshireman i'm naturally superior and hard to offend [:D]

As my good lady wife says 'you can always tell a yorkshireman......you just can't tell him much' [;)]

Another thing about a Yorkshireman is they always do it the correct way - that's after they've tried every other way [;)]

Is that the best Devon & warwickshire can muster??!!

At the very least I was expecting the 'its like a scotsman with the generosity removed' to be trotted out [;)]

6/10 boys.......must try harder!! [:D]

I have fitted a Capristo to my Gen 1.5 Turbo and she sounds amazing. The power gains have shown in performance mode with a new air filter system there are gains of circa 50-60 bhp. The system is a work of art but was costly for the Gen 1 engine at around 5k all fitted with a couple of new gaskets and remote controllers. I looked at the Akropovik and felt it was more an aftermarket gimmik but it is dependant on your wishes and gains. The Capristo is stunning and many of my friends have now also gone to source the same exhaust. Your paying for fitment and look with ceramic tailpipes (that dont look burnt any longer) and the beauty of town driving which is slightly deeper than the standard system or race mode which is full on noise. It sounds closest to the GT2 car with turbos spinning alot in race mode but is actually lower performance as you are bypassing most of he pressure required by the engine.
I have not regretted the swap in anyway but it was costly and a bit of a shock on payment day! The result is an understated look but with real world performance and sound gains. It was the only choice for the car as i just dont like the heavily modded vehicles out there. Porsche do things very well and I think why change a stunning car too much. I hope you find what you are looking for!
