997 Turbo modded & Remapped at DMS Automotive

I've got the car booked in for new KW shocks etc (which turns off the PASM). I think I've got the correct description.

I've been doing track days for some time but it would be nice to take a car which its possible to drive to the track and drive home agian.

I did one track day with the car and the suspension seemed all over the place. The car was pretty quick around the track though.

Suspension first then maybe a power boost. I can't afford some of the figures I've seen posted for the power upgrades!! To be honest I'm more interested in mid range as on most tracks you don't get anyway near top speed

Its also a question a to whether the PDK box can cope and not self destroy!!

The car is fantastic after the mods. Completely changed how it drives. The power is endless, almost violent when I floor it. DMS a have an excellent remap for the Turbo S. Look at these videos. This car had just a remap, no hardware.

Interestingly there appear to very few ECU tunes for 991/981 models. Fabspeed have just released a "piggyback" upgrade for the 991 Turbo as nobody seems to have found out how to modify the OEM ECU without it leaving a trace.

The DMS 997 retunes can be reversed and the car tested on a PWEIS tester with no trace of the DMS retune. The 991 piggyback device can be removed and I suppose aside from a few fixing holes, there is no trace left.
