Welcome to the forum lowndes.ORIGINAL: lowndes
Just arrived at PCGB with a 997TT collected from factory last October
I collected mine at the end of November, I hope your collection experience was as good as mine [], I really found it a great thing to do.
Did you tour for a while or come straight back home ?
Also hope your enjoying the car []

Really enjoyed the factory visit, especially the engine assembly line. Having seen that I thinkI'd better consign my spark plug socket and feeler gauges to the dustbin of history!
Ran back up through Germany which gave an opportunity to stretch its legs on some quite stretches of Autobahn.
Had 996TT and 997S in recent past and think the current car is worth the premium. It may be a bit lardy for some of the GT3 boys but it does me just fine. I've done 3k so far but it's been in hibernation recently whilst there is salt on the roads. However come the Spring I shall have a run up to the northwest of Scotland where I expect it will come into its own.
Off topic for a moment, can you point me towards an idiots guide to using the PCGB forum. It seems to think I am a non member, how do I earn more stars, how do I post a picture in my profile and what is an avatar? And everytime I wish to enter the site I have to disable my internet security.

you need to email the club office with your membership number to get you assigned as a member on here, Yes long winded we all agree, but for the moment thats how it is [&:].
You have to earn your stars []...
Just clocked up 2.5K today in mine, roads were a little slippy but the car handled it superbly, oddly enough I saw no GT3s on the road today [].
Steve.... May will never come quick enough [].
I'm sure you'll have a great time as we all have with the car. []
