Look out for the peacocks!!!
Last year they were giving peacocks away free! Obviously the Hotels reputation had spread to the Peacock's! Hope your not too precious about the birds standing on your cars with their sharp claws and habitual pooing habit! lol!

They have confirmed the names of the people who have booked rooms and talked about dinner sittings...
There will be a large screen in one of the Hotels rooms in order for everyone who wishes to watch the Rugby []
The owner/MD and the majority of the staff are into sports cars in general and quite looking forward to having us stay with them.. I haven't told them that we have a Yellow and Red one yet...
As you may have seen on their website, quite a few car clubs do stop with them, (I have done so previously with another group)..
All facilities are open and available to guests upon arrival, including the Bar for any additonal Mango Stingers that Clive may fancy !!!
I may possibly be doing a Dawn Raid, depending on the Rugby result.... [&:]

If I can get a pass out for the day I'll see you at the cafe in the morning.

If you could withstand the presence of an '72 911 I may tag along (at the back so I don't hold anyone up!) with my son. I may not do the whole drive as I need to get back home mid afternoon, but I seeing as the brackets for my seats have just turned up it would be a shame not to fit them and get the car out
If I can get a pass out for the day I'll see you at the cafe in the morning.
[] ÂŁ3.99 for the bikers breakfast, see you there..

Just got back from a great drive, never spent quite so much time with the throttle wide open! Managed to keep up until the brakes started to go all squidgy...[]
Certainly found some good bits of road, including the EVO triangle, stunning.
Thanks to Gary and friends for welcoming me on the run

We found the great driving roads and plenty of scenic ones along the way.
Gary71, nice pictures, I hope Sam got plenty of the teddy for school[]
The weather was brilliant for the trip, not too hot but not really cold either- just right for driving in the UK.
I'll upload my pictures later tonight and post them up.
A great colourful line up of Porsches with plenty of people admiring them as we passed.[]
A quick note on the Hotel whom I thought offered us a great package, I had a stunning room that allowed me to do carpark security through the night (especially when someones alarm went off!! but I won't name you Rob..[]) .
They offered us a half board package and whilst we may have rushed through the dinner in order to watch the Rugby, i've not been offered Fillet Steak as part of a limited menu before !! [8D] Salmon for starters ?? I should imagine we will be returning there again.
My thanks again

Part of the EVO Triangle, offering really testing road [8D], certainly see why the magazine goes there...
Well surfaced roads...and then one not so []
The Saturday Group at Lake Bala
Dam... made it..
Which you car drive over..(seperate photos to be uploaded tomorrow)
Hotel rooms were large and of a high Standard, Bar was newly refurbished.
The exterior colour wasn't to Rob's favourite colour....
Other road users seemed to be enjoying themselves... Clive claims he knows her!![&:]
Whilst others argued rights of way...
Sunday, and this road, Yes there's one there....
Leads to this: Devils Staircase... sorry about the picture, was a little busy at the time..[8|]
But it levels out onto this
Finally leading to a photo stop with spectacular backdrops...[] Sundays Group
and the cars
Looking forward to the next one...

I don't know about "The older I get the faster I was tag line!"
I'd like to reassure all Turbo owners that their cars are a little faster than a Carrera S, but warn all of us that we shouldn't take-on a '71 911...
Just like to add Judy and my thanks to everyone for a cracking weekend and especially to Gary and Rob for all their hard work in organising it and finding such a super route.
Thanks also go to Lesley and Peter for their company on Friday night at Ruthin Castle Hotel (a superb overnighter) and the Riocha on Saturday - my shout next time!).
The whole weekend couldn't have been better.
I am full of admiration for Gary's waltz around the farm dog and the white horse and rider. Favourite section for Judy was the queueing behind the ponies and traps!
Great fun!
10-10 till we do it again!
Regards,
Clive
